The series of „She can do IT” events is dedicated to supporting women career development in the IT area. It includes three discussion meetings, each one examining a different stage of the career journey: starting from the very beginning, how to prepare a CV, Dos and DONTs in job interviews, insights on the recruitment process, through the challenges and opportunities in the working environment in IT and BPO companies, finally reaching to the subject of female leadership. The aim is young specialists to meet experts in the field and have an informal discussion about everything regarding the beginning of their career.
The IT and BPO industries are among the fastest developing in Bulgaria and the hunt for talent is very intensive.
Tek Experts has a long term commitment to organizing campaigns and initiatives reaffirming equal opportunity for women in IT. In February 2019, the company did an international survey among women employed in the IT sector from different countries (Bulgaria, Costa Rica, Nigeria, USA and Vietnam). The results were summarized and published in a Tek Experts whitepaper “Achieving Gender Balance: Views from Across the IT Industry”, which is available for download here: www.questioningdiversity.com.
