About the role...

The Talent Experience Lead is responsible for assisting in uncovering candidate & hiring manager needs & researching the driving force behind user behaviors. The Lead will assist in crafting the total customer experience - everything a customer sees, hears, & touches, by partnering cross-functionally with IT, Marketing, Operations & the HR Team. With direction from the VP of Global Talent Acquisition, this position will review & implement designs based on user feedback, as well as assess experience competitiveness – current & future state experience assessments will play an integral role in leading product plans, priorities, & overall strategy. Additionally, the Talent Experience Lead also moves company into passive talent generation but developing an experience for potential talent by developing a sourcing strategy and lending expertise to making the Talent Delivery Team more effective & efficient. The Talent Experience Lead will use external market insights to identify opportunities for sourcing innovation, and owning the development of sourcing competence across the team. This role coaches/trains the Talent Delivery Team on how to engage & create a compelling experience in outreach and consults with stakeholders on the talent market dynamics, active and passive sourcing channels, technologies, as well as effective employer brand messaging to attract top talent.

What you’ll be doing

    • Work cross-functionally to assist in the development of an industry-leading candidate experience
    • Support evaluation of persona-based candidate-experience strategies for select high-volume & critical roles (including digital & fit-culture/role assessments)
    • Assist in development of a refreshed & engaging onboarding process (tech & touch enabled) – frequently reevaluating to ensure groundbreaking approach to candidate experience
    • Support Talent Delivery Team in attracting quality hires, on budget, & on time 
    • Find, engage, & deliver industry-leading talent to the Talent Delivery Team through extraordinary candidate & manager experiences
    • Implement an operationalized high tech & touch onboarding methodology
    • Provide input on job advertising, posting, sharing, & distribution (e.g., social media, digital advertising, niche sites, etc.) & support data integrations & related tracking/metrics
    • Evaluate & provide input on job related communications for site remarketing (e.g., job alerts)
    • Partner with Go Digital Team to execute Talent Acceleration’s candidate engagement strategy - Talent Community strategy, global referral program, candidate engagement approach, etc.
    • Assist Vice President in evaluating new/innovative technologies in-market to improve candidate experience, create sourcing methodology & revisit onboarding 
    • Use power of influence to drive change
    • Drive the team to deliver candidate & hiring manager experience excellence
    • Partner with Go Digital Team to review the possibilities of current/existing technology, evolving technology, & new functionality that is being developed by current technology partners; evaluate incorporation of these innovations into the changes envisioned for an elite candidate experience
    • Partner with Marketing & key partners across the organization to support the development of a comprehensive talent network strategy & content strategy for key talent segments 
    • Execute strategy for how to optimize the functionality of career site provider, to support the build-out of an elite career site that tells the story of who we are through our brand, social media content, etc.
    • Creates an annual training curriculum for the Talent Delivery Team, working in partnership with the Delivery Leadership Team to understand training gaps and agree to appropriate remediation in terms of training (frequency, method, etc.)
    • Ensures transfer of knowledge to teams via training curriculum and review of opportunities to implement

What you'll need

  • 7+ years recruiting or human resources experience
  • Deep understanding of recruitment technologies
  • Ability to serve as the global point of contact, supporting a consistent candidate experience across the employee lifecycle
  • Ability to comprehend, analyze, & interpret current talent landscape & job seekers' challenges
  • Ability to evaluate/assess content & candidate communication/messaging
  • Eager to pursue challenges & solve problems
  • Ability to conduct needs analysis, gaining alignment, & make recommendations to leadership to support development of go-forward strategy
  • Experience working cross-functionally to achieve results
  • Excellent communication (both written & verbal), listening, negotiation, interpersonal, & decision-making skills 
  • Attention to detail 
  • Ability to make independent decisions & act on them accordingly 
  • Work effectively within a virtual team environment 
  • Strong leadership & analytical skills
  • Solid knowledge of both active and passive candidate sourcing tools, techniques and methodologies across varying geographies
  • Excellent storyteller - demonstrated ability to comprehend, analyze, and interpret data
  • Prior experience of training others on advanced search techniques 
  • Proven ability to organize and prioritize projects in a fast-paced and deadline-oriented global business environment
