About the role...

The Talent and Leadership Development Lead defines and provides guidance for talent succession and development, builds Leadership capability and Performance management processes.  You will work closely with Business Leaders and HR in providing meaningful information and insights to support decision-making people matters, with data-driven focus.  
You will also deliver relevant global project initiatives that develop next-generation programs and processes as we continue to innovate and grow the businesses. 
You will work in close partnership with HR Operations and their experience and delivery be utilized in all Brand businesses.

What you’ll be doing

    • Design and implement initiatives that align with talent strategy, performance management and leadership development.
    • Evaluate and enhance performance and talent assessment and calibration processes and tools to improve results, enhance experience, future forecasted capabilities.
    • Delivering proactive insight and activity for future talent pipeline (funnel demand).
    • Identify and close Leadership capability gaps, L&D, talent readiness, and organization effectiveness.  Create development initiatives in support of achieving leadership strategy through the identification of needs (e.g. Talent development activities for high potentials, Leader succession etc.)
    • Provide holistic insights of Talent utilization within business and across Brand businesses, working in close partnership with HR Operations.
    • Review and embed Manager and Leader frameworks into all people processes.
    • Identify and design global leadership development programs.  Partner with elev8 for alignment and delivery of programs.
    • Point of contact into elev8 for Manager development programs for country and global progams.
    • Subject matter expert and program manager to support the delivery of Talent Review to all levels and Succession Planning, working in partnership with HR Operations to deliver. 
    • Design and embed talent initiatives to build Manager and Leader capability, e.g. mentor framework for leaders (and be an active mentor/coach) as sponsors of high potentials and emerging leaders; to achieve potential and define career paths.
    • Establish and champion a high-performance management culture including leading company-wide communications.  Deliver performance management through critical talent assessment and performance milestones including goal setting, end of year.
    • Lead relevant global project initiatives.

What you'll need

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources Management or related field. 
  • 5 years’ experience in Talent management in large, complex global organizations and strong expertise in the development of learning programs in a global company.
  • Experience managing and enhancing HR processes, including proficiency with HR systems and technologies; experience managing projects or initiatives.
  • Proven experience facilitating discussions building meaningful relationships across all levels.
  • Ability to set a strategic plan and aligned desired outcomes to execute multi-year talent and strategies.
  • Proven experience utilizing analytics & insights to inform plans and drive outcomes.
  • Deep expertise designing and implementing a variety of leadership and management development programs programs, with strong skills in program design, curriculum development, partner resourcing and measuring ROI.
  • Practical experience providing formal/informal coaching. Having a coaching qualification is a plus. 
  • Ability to balance multiple projects while informing key partners of progress and outcomes.
  • Possesses strong change management skills to manage ambiguity and is highly adaptable and flexible to changing requirements and business demands.
  • Ability to exert a high degree of influence and persuasion across a dynamic, rapidly changing organization.
  • Excels at translating business goals into actionable development programs.
