Skills and Competencies
• 2-3 years of experience in administrating Microsoft servers would be a strong advantage.
• 3-5 years of Microsoft System Center 2012/2012R2 management platform experience, including some/all of the following applications in the family:
• Configuration Manager (SCCM)
• Installation, configuration and deployment of packages
• Deploying new Distribution points
• Creating and editing new images for company PCs
• Intune
• Autopilot
• Virtualization – general knowledge/concept, experience in provisioning/administration with any vendor hypervisor (VMware / Microsoft HyperV,)
• Server OS - Windows 2008 (R2), 2012 (R2), 2016, general Linux configuration
• Client OS - Windows 7, 10
• Networking - general knowledge of devices, LAN/WAN concepts, routing, DNS, DHCP, load balancing, firewalls
• Active Directory – concept, topology, general admin tasks, scripting, GPOs
• PowerShell – administration, scripting
• O365 – Exchange, SharePoint (or alternatives from other vendors)
• Azure – general configuration, VMs, Deployments and scaling
• Monitoring – Servers and Infrastructure health state (understanding of zabbix /Nagios)
• Mobile Device Management
• Additional knowledge in cloud technologies and backup software
• Strong technical skills with Server technology, Virtualization
• Strong in IT Service Management for Incident, Change and Configuration Management
• Good in Crisis Management
• Excellent Troubleshooting skills
• Capable of being self-managed
