About the role...

The Quoting Coordinator reports into the Head of Software Deal Operations (SW Deal Desk) organization and is a focal point consultant with Sales to help for the creation of support renewal opportunities and support their progress through the internal approval process and quote production.

What you’ll be doing

    • Act as a first contact for the Regional Management and Sales teams regarding any questions on process, booking and pricing etc. offering them guidance on how to process the orders and book documents
    • Support Quoting and Booking for renewal transactions 
    • Tool requests and follow-up including X-Functional Engagement with Deal Desk and other deal approval personnel, including driving Budgetary Quoting process etc.
    • Verify and answer ad-hoc questions regarding licensing and renewals, as they relate to deals 
    • Occasionally supporting the Sales Management with updates to the tool (e.g. ensure Sales Reps do the updates in the tool as agreed with Management in the forecast calls) 
    • Providing Stack C quote support to the sales team 
    • Quarter end Process-monitoring deals Q2C, obtaining info as needed 
    • Country-specific Sales Ops assistance as needed 
    • Participate in local forecast calls and other team checks when requested by Sales Operations.
    • Contribute to success of the team quota
    • Demonstrates the ability to personally plan for the achievement of performance goals. 
    • Identify renewal accounts and assisting in creating and sending quotes out in a timely manner.  This may also include consolidating renewal opportunities where appropriate, and helping to identify opportunities to upsell further Micro Focus solutions
    • Demonstrates basic level of proficiency of individual / group root cause analysis and solution proposal. 
    • Focus on daily telephone work (reminding/chasing)
    • Interacts extensively with internal / external customers. 
    • May be asked to support training of new team members within their level of expertise

  • Excellent Customer Service Skills
  • Intermediate knowledge of MS Office Software: Outlook, Power Point, Excel, etc.
  • Excellent phone presence and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent English. Written and verbal
