About the role...

 IT Service Desk Specialist role will be to facilitate requests coming from users from any of our global sites. The primary day-to-day tasks will consist of receiving, triaging, prioritizing, and resolving requests (tickets) that employees are raising in our CRM. IT ServiceDesk Specialist must manage all requests in a timely manner and performance will be measured towards our agreed SLAs/KPIs. IT ServiceDesk Specialist is also expected to act as ‘remote hands and eyes, supporting the technical teams in the IT organization with practical exercises when needed.

What you’ll be doing

    • Request/Ticket management on a global level
    • Assist technical teams as and when needed (physical installations, patching, reboots, etc.)
    • Provide support to local IT ServiceDesk Agents
    • Asset management
    • Prepare hardware/accounts for new-starters
    • Decommission hardware/accounts for leavers
    • Monitoring system health/network performance 
    • Maintain safety standards in the working environment that comply with TEK and partner’s standards and policies

What you'll need

  • Basic personal (or professional) experience in computing and technology
  • Degree in Information Technology (IT) or a related field will be considered a strong advantage but not a must
  • ITIL will be considered as an advantage.
  • Basic knowledge in MS Office suite
  • Strong English is written and spoken skills
  • Process-oriented person
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • IT Service Management for Incident, Change and Request Management
  • Capable of being self-managed
  • Team player
