About the role...

The YNV Group is seeking a Compensation Analyst who will be responsible for providing support to the Total Rewards team on numerous compensation matters, including base pay, incentives, total rewards, survey participation, job evaluations, benchmarking and market pricing jobs. This is a full-time position will be located in our Costa Rica reporting to the Global Head of Total Rewards.

What you’ll be doing

    • Responsible for Remuneration Survey submissions, receipt, handling and system uploads of survey data which includes the use of market valuation systems, system administration and controlled access.
    • Prepares and presents summary reports of job analysis and compensation analysis information.
    • Gathers data from market-based compensation surveys; uses spreadsheet and data analysis techniques to assess results and market trends.
    • compensation ranges for each position. As appropriate, assigns roles to appropriate salary ranges.
    • Researches job requirements and evaluates job positions relative to market benchmarks and internal pay practices.
    • Contributes to the development and maintenance of job leveling, classification and salary structures.
    • Owns the Rewards SharePoint and is responsible for maintaining appropriate hierarchy and controlling access to rewards related collateral and tools.
    • Conducts data and cost analyses to be used for budgeting and financial forecasting
    • Researches employee compensation and benefits market practices; based on findings, recommends changes or updates to the company’s existing rewards programs or policies.
    • Assists with the year-end compensation process from start to finish across all business areas.
    • Assists in determining approaches for rewards in hiring, promoting and retaining employees.
    • Conducts ad-hoc analysis to support total rewards projects.
    • Performs other related duties as assigned.

What you'll need

  • Experience with the Hay Job Evaluation Methodology
  • Advanced excel skills with knowledge of quantitative and qualitative analysis methods.
  • Strong analytical, mathematical skills
  • Familiarity with human resource laws, regulations and best practices.
  • Demonstrated written and verbal communication skills.
  • Demonstrated organizational and time management skills with high attention to detail.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field required.
  • SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP preferred.
  • One to three years of experience as a compensation analyst required.
