About the role...

We’re looking to add to our team of software support engineers. As a Level 2 Technical Support Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality of service within the team and overall customer satisfaction. Working on the App Services team, you get to work with cutting-edge PaaS technology in the Azure cloud.  You will support cases related to Azure App Services, including deployment, OSS, configuration, and performance.

What you’ll be doing

    • Act as the technical contact, deliver advanced technical troubleshooting and problem-solving solutions for corporate customers including, issues escalated to the highest level of management 
    • Collaborate with subject matter experts and escalation managers when additional support is needed 
    • Manage critical issues by setting customer expectations, devise and implement action plans and professionally communicate to all parties involved 
    • Seek supplemental training to improve performance and develop specialization.

What you can expect:
6 weeks of product training
4 weeks of nesting, taking cases side-by-side with a senior engineer
After training and nesting, you will be responsible for managing your case load and delivering excellent customer service consistently

What you’ll need (Qualifications & Experience)
Up to 2 years’ experience in technical or customer support
Strong researching, problem solving and troubleshooting skills
Adaptability to work independently and as part of a team
Excellent customer service skills
Passion for technology and learning
Exposure to Microsoft technologies
Desired Qualifications: 
Web application development experience or participation in a coding boot camp
1-2 years of customer service, Software Support experience or IT operations and/or infrastructure services support
Strong problem-solving skills
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
